Dr. Brian Simmons�is known as a passionate lover of God. After a dramatic conversion to Christ, Brian knew that God was calling him to go to the unreached people of the world and present the gospel of God’s grace to all who would listen. With his wife Candice and their three children, he spent nearly eight years in the tropical rain forest of the Darien Province of Panama as a church planter, translator, and consultant. Brian was involved in the Paya-Kuna New Testament translation project and studied linguistics and Bible translation principles with New Tribes Mission. Brian is now working to complete a new translation of the Scripture from the ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

Stunning! Captures The King of King!

Stunning. Captures the heart of God like nothing else I've read in translations of the Word of God! This translation in this Gospel gives me such a clearer picture of God, our eternal King. IN this Gospel I see Jesus as the eternal King, greater than Moses, the fulfillment of the Law. I am so thankful for Dr. Simmons work of excellence with the Hebrew, Greek, and the Aramaic. I would never have been introduced to the Aramaic if it had not been for the Passion Translation!!

Breathtaking Translation

I love, love, love, love the Passion Translation. As a teacher and pastor I have been studying the Word of God for nearly 25 years and this translation was like a breath of fresh of air to my soul. The love of Jesus fills every page and it ignite a fire of love and passion in your heart as you read it. Also, the information about the Aramaic and history draws you in and wants you to dive in even deeper.

The Passion Translation hands down is my favorite Bible translation. The scriptures come alive with depth and feeling. You feel the love of Abba God dripping off the pages and into your heart! You Will be moved by the "Passion" of this translation! I love the honesty of the translator, he provides copious notes regarding the translation. Try one and you will get them all. Do not miss out on getting Song of Songs or the Psalms!

With sets like EV3, NXT, and Technic, you’ll have ample opportunities to help your LEGO-loving child transition from simple kid sets to more complex robotic sets. And this is a good thing, especially if your child wants to be an engineering or scientist when they grow up. My son has thoroughly loved his advanced sets from LEGO Education, and he uses the parts every week. But even with all these Technic and robotic pieces at hand, a child can eventually run out of ideas for new things to build. What to do then?

Great book - wish it were longer!

This is a great book with lots of pics. The instructions are clear and well written. There are corresponding pics demonstrating what to do. I believe that it would be good to have some sewing skills to get through the projects. For example, the blanket stitch is needed for at least one of the projects, but not explained in any detail, so one would have to look that up elsewhere to learn it if they didn't already know. There are a variety of 14 projects that discuss fascinator bases, veiling, sinamay rolled edges and flowers, feathers, headbands, combs, millinery elastic, wired edges, and blocked fascinators. All of my fascinator questions were answered in this book. I wish this book was longer, maybe with some unconventional projects that are sculptural using non-millinery materials. I finished reading this book on the day that I got it - short, but it was interesting enough that I kept wanting to read more. I highly recommend this book if you're interested in learning about how to make fascinators.

About the Author
Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) was converted to Christ at the age of nineteen and almost immediately began to preach in his native Dublin where he trained for a legal profession at Trinity College. He became a respected member of the Irish Home Office and an expert on criminal investigation. In 1888, he was summoned to Scotland Yard, London, to serve as Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department, an office he filled with distinction until retirement in 1896. At his retirement, he was knighted by Queen Victoria; and in 1901, King Edward VII made him Knight Commander. In the midst of all his many duties, he managed to gain a profound knowledge of the Bible, preach in various conferences, and write seventeen books.

The content of this book is great, as Anderson is a great thinker and unapologetically states what is necessary to hear. Never again should any believer in the Lord Jesus allow a church to place itself over the Bible, or to place itself between the believer and his Lord.
The complaint I have about the book itself is that it could have used a much better degree of proofreading. There are many typing mistakes in the manuscript that need to be corrected.
